A fun and playful photo shoot with Molly who is now 1 years old. My long time friend Kim supplied all her little outfits and blew the bubbles while her little girl ran a muck! :)

A Whole Different World

I've finally found my niche..I'm absolutely in love with macro photography( though these were taken with a standard 18-55mm canon lens not a macro) I find with these type of shots, you are looking into a whole nother world. It's amazing the colours, tiny details and events you can capture when magnifying many times more than what the naked eye can.

Photo Shoot with Rina

A photo shoot with my lovely friend Rina. We did a mini road trip out to Lake Ngaroto where there was some scenery and the set was pretty much made up for us. It was pretty cold but with an hour to spare before the clouds set in over the sun we were able to get a few shots in:)

Frosty Morning

A frosty morning at home. 7am and freezing cold frosts, topped off with the sunrise, and the fire lit inside the house, the suns reflection shined right through the smoke leaving an orange tinged trail.

Vintage Textures

This practice shoot was one I chose to do on my lovely sister!
Big thanks to you Cheryl for putting up with my demands! So the theme to this shoot would sort of be a vintage texture look. I did the hair and make up and chose the outfit(out of my own wardrobe, supplied pretty much everything but I think we did pretty well:)
I like the colours in the photos they make the images look a little older.

Lake Ngaroto

A very overcast day at Lake Ngaroto located between Hamilton and Te Awamutu.
Lake Ngaroto is a small lake with a nice walking trek around it a few kms long. It consists of bush scenery, bird sitings and a quiet peacful trek.

The lake is also quiet and small amounts of visitors flock to the lake each weekend for a walk or some fishing. The lake also has warning signs of no swimming as it contains red algae.

Took a couple hours out of the day to travel and out and take some photos of the water. Managed to get some amazing flat and calm water shots with great reflections. As it was overcast the light wasn't too bad just had to watch getting too much sky in the photos. I feel they turned out great:)
The first photo is my favourite of the day.
